Nutrition Counseling

With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Harris' individualized, holistic, inclusive, and weight- neutral approach helps clients build a foundation of self-care. This includes feeding oneself faithfully with an increasing variety of foods in an attuned fashion to ultimately develop the ability to trust internal body signals and cultivate positive attitudes towards food, eating, movement, and one's body.  Dr. Harris collaborates with your treatment team to facilitate your journey of recovery.

How to Eat

In today’s world, almost everyone is mired in "diet culture" and feels conflicted and anxious about eating. You may be experiencing anguish and frustration with your food, body and eating, but aren’t eating disordered. How to Eat is an evidence-based cognitive and behavioral approach to restore Eating Competence that will help you to: 1) Resolve conflict and anxiety about eating; 2) Restore your trust in sensations of hunger, appetite, and satiety; and 3) Build attuned, stable, and positive eating attitudes and behaviors.
